Exercise #69: 1v1 to a Ball
OBJECTIVE:
This exercise allows your players to practice individual attacking and defending.
DESCRIPTION:
Two players should play 1v1 to a ball. To score, a player must hit the target ball with his ball by either passing or dribbling into it. If possession changes, both players play to the same target. If the ball (goal) rolls away after a point is scored, continue playing to the ball's new position. The attacking player can pass his ball into the "goal" ball several times in a row to rack up points if the defending player doesn't quickly get back into position.

"I just wanted to say, after reading the latest essay on match analysis, that nothing else matches the professional nature of your site. It is extremely efficient and useful and this is spoken by someone who has been a part of the game for over forty years."

"Your web site is terrific. I'm a relatively new coach and the exercises and drills are going to be a big help this spring season."
