Three training sessions from each week cover topics that include: Training the Playmaker, Defending Set Plays, Building from the Back, Brazilian Circuit Training, Ball Possession, and Offensive Transition just to name a few. Each session is designed to train the chosen topic with defenders, midfielders, or forwards so that the specific demands of each position are addressed. All of the sessions are progressive and show how the team moved from warm-up through the session and ending with a game related activity or small-sided game. More than 200 easy-to-read diagrams illustrate the sessions along with detailed explanations of the setup, player movements, and important coaching points.
