How do I buy items from the SoccerMall?

To get started, simply click on the category icons to browse through the catalog, or use the keyword search feature to go directly to specific items. Once you find what you are looking for, add each item to your "Shopping Cart" by clicking on the "Add to Shopping Cart" button at the bottom of the product description page (some items may require you to select a color, size, or format first). Continue browsing and adding items to your cart until you are ready to check out.

You can change your order on the Shopping Cart page by entering different quantities for each item listed. Setting a quantity to 0 removes that item from your cart. To obtain a shipping quote and complete your order, select a shipping method and destination country, then press the "Check Out" button. Any changes you've made to the quantity will be reflected on the next page. To preview your Shopping Cart changes before you check out, simply press the "Recalculate" button.

Finally, enter your billing and shipping information on the secure Check Out screen. Be sure to provide a physical street address for all shipments, as we can not ship to PO Boxes. Click the "Submit Order" button, and your order is now complete!

What do the various shipping options mean?

The SoccerMall offers four shipping options:

  • Standard Ground is the least expensive option, and is available for customers in Canada and the Continental US. Ground shipping delivery times typically range from 2 to 7 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays).
  • Second Day Air orders will arrive two business days after your package ships (usually three days after you place your order). This option is available to customers in the US (including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico).
  • Overnight Air orders will arrive the next business day after your package ships (usually two days after you place your order). This option is also available to all customers in the US.
  • Shipments to destinations outside of the US must go via International Air (excluding Standard Ground shipments to Canada). Delivery times vary widely from country-to-country, but most International Air shipments will arrive within 7-10 business days.
If your order contains items that are delivered electronically (via download or e-mail), you will not be charged shipping fees for these items, but you must select a valid shipping method for your address to complete your order. If you purchase items from multiple vendors on a single order, your shipment will arrive in more than one package.

Note that we do not guarantee same-day processing. Most items will ship the next business day following your order; some items will ship the same day, and other items may require an additional business day to ship. If an item is on backorder, we will contact you by e-mail to let you know the expected shipping date. To assist you in selecting the best shipping method for your order, SoccerROM provides the usual turnaround time for each item in the SoccerMall at the bottom of every product description page.

Does SoccerROM ship products to my country?

SoccerROM currently ships items listed in the SoccerMall to 97 countries around the world. This list is available on the Shopping Cart page, or you can check for your country in the list below...

Customs declarations will indicate the full value of the order in US dollars. International customers are responsible for paying all duties, customs charges or tariffs on the products when the package arrives in their country.

What video format should I choose?

SoccerROM features videos in a variety of formats, including DVD, NTSC-VHS, and PAL-VHS. Our DVDs use a universal format, and have been tested to work on DVD players in different regions around the world. VHS users in North America will generally require the NTSC format, whereas the PAL standard is used in most European countries. What methods of payment can I use?

We accept payment via Visa, MasterCard, or American Express for SoccerMall purchases. We do not accept payments via check or purchase orders.

How do I know that my credit card information is safe?

SoccerROM takes the security of your personal information seriously, and we have a variety of systems in place to protect your data. All orders you submit to SoccerROM are secured using Netscape's Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to ensure that your credit card information remains confidential in transit. We process credit card payments using state-of-the-art systems from Authorize.Net, a leading Internet Commerce vendor who has a proven record for handling electronic payments securely. Our servers are kept current on all security patches, and they are monitored around-the-clock in a physically-secured data center. We've been serving customers around the world since 1998, and we understand that your privacy is important!

Can I pay for my order with my local currency?

All prices are listed in US dollars, and you will be billed for your order in US funds. However, customers outside the US can use our real-time Currency Conversion form to get an estimate of their order's cost in their local currencies. In addition, the price shown on each product description page links directly to the Currency Converter, making it even easier to convert between currencies.

How does SoccerROM handle exchanges and returns?

The policies regarding exchanges and returns vary somewhat for each vendor in the SoccerMall. In general, books, opened videos, and opened software can not be returned or exchanged (although defective items will be replaced with same title only). The specific details governing exchanges and returns for each item are linked from the bottom of each product description page. If you have questions regarding a possible exchange or return, please contact us at admin@soccerrom.com with the details (including your order number and reason for the return) and we will respond within 24 hours.

Why does each item list two different prices?

SoccerROM Members receive a 5-15% discount on every item purchased from the SoccerMall, so we include both the regular and the discounted price on each product description page for the convenience of all our customers. How do I contact you with questions or comments?

So that we can serve you as quickly and accurately as possible, we ask that you direct all inquiries to us via e-mail at admin@soccerrom.com. Please note that SoccerROM was designed as a "web-only" service. We monitor e-mail around the clock, seven days a week, but we do not maintain an inbound call center.
